See how Yvonne Nwosu rocked her Iro and Buba
One industry that doesn’t get as much attention as it deserves is our fashion industry. Every day, Nigerian designers are breaking bounds with ingenious designs and clothes that are easy on the eyes and comfortable to those who wear them. The likes of Mai Atafo, Lanre Da Silva, April by Kunbi, amongst others have been doing very well for themselves.
Iro and Buba is an attire usually worn predominantly by women of the Yoruba tribe and they often pair it with heeled shoes or slippers. But Yvonne Nwosu a well-known designer added a twist to her own Iro and Buba choosing to pair it with sneakers. And even though she is not the first to dress this way, the result is very nice.
