The Game Ordered to Pay $7 Million in Sexual Assault Lawsuit
The Game has been ordered to pay a hefty sum of money to a woman who claimed he sexually assaulted her.
TMZ is reporting that an Illinois judge ruled the rapper (real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor) will have to pay Priscilla Rainey $7 million for allegedly sexually assaulting her during a reality show shoot in 2015. The judgement was entered against him last week for a total of $7.13 million.
E! News has learned the rapper is planning to appeal the ruling.
Originally, Rainey filed a lawsuit against The Game for $10 million in August of 2015. TMZ obtained the documents in which she said he sexually harassed her several times, including "forcefully reaching his hand inside her dress to rub her bare vagina and buttocks."
Meanwhile, this is not The Game's first run-in with the law.
In 2015, he was arrested on charges of criminal threats (which is a felony), after he turned himself in for allegedly punching an off-duty police officer during a game of basketball. He was released an hour later after posting his $50,000 bail.
The year before that, in 2014, The Game andT.I. got into an intense standoff against the Los Angeles Police Department in a parking lot near Supperclub in Los Angeles, which was all the cause of some miscommunication.
The rappers had heard their buddies got into a brawl outside the club and thought it was with the authorities. However, it was actually an altercation between their friend and the nightclub's security. LAPD told E! News at the time that there was a fight, but no arrests were made.
