7 Manchester United key players set to miss Arsenal showdown

Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling have been ruled out due to respective injuries, while Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw are major doubts for the fixture.

United manager Jose Mourinho has called for a review of his first team as his side occupy the 11th position on the EPL standings.

This would be the ‘Special One’s first meeting against Arsene Wenger since he took charge at Old Trafford.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will take no part in this game following a suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Swansea City.

Also, Marouane Fellaini is still recuperating from an injury he sustained to his calf while Wayne Rooney missed England’s games in the international break following a setback on the injury.

The good news is that Antonio Valencia is expected to make a short return against the Gunners while Luke Shaw has reported pain in the leg that he broke last season.

A win for United will move them three points behind Arsenal and supporters of the Red Devils will spare no one if the team loses.

Recall that Manchester United have already lost 4 – 0 to Chelsea and  2- 1 to neighbours Manchester City this season and will be desperate to avoid another defeat against a top four rival this time around.

United host fourth placed Arsenal on Saturday, November 19 at the Old Trafford in a week 12 clash of the 2016/2017 EPL season.
